The Secret Circle [The Catch Up]

Only one season of The Secret Circle has gone. It returns with season 2 this week. Check the Why so little blogging... post for its exact return date. 

Before I give the catch up to this if I'm being totally honest, the first few episodes of this season were crap. But I gave it time because it is a very new show. It got better like the middle of the season and I'm a little excited to see what they do in Season 2.

What The Secret Circle is about:

The Secret Circle is a story of a girl whose mother dies. The death forces her to move to a town where she has to live with her grandmother. She meets  a bunch of kids and they tell her they are all descended from powerful witches and have been waiting on her to complete their circle.

This episode is basically what you just read in the description of what the movie is about.

Season 1 Episode 2 - 

Cassie tries to distance herself from the group and find some non witch friends. Adam fights his feelings for Cassie. Diana tries to get everyone to bind the circle.

Season 1 Episode 3 - 

Everybody's off to the dance except Faye who wants to practice controlling her powers. A man is in town asking questions about Cassie.

Season 1 Episode 4 -

Cassie and Faye work together to release one of her mother's friends called Heather from a catatonic state the previous generation of the circle put her in.

Season 1 Episode 5 - 

The circle has to deal with the consequences of messing with stuff they don't fully understand like waking up the catatonic woman without knowing why she was in a catatonic state. A member of the circle dies.

Jake returns to town for his brother's wake and sets his sights on Cassie which makes (Faye his ex girlfriend)  and Adam upset.

Cassie throws a Halloween party. The circle is hunted by witch hunters.

Season 1 Episode 8 - 

The whole circle set out on an adventure to find Cassie's grandmother when she doesn't check in after leaving to visit Faye's grandfather.

Cassie and Jake research her father so she can get a closer look into where he magic comes from and why she has powers outside of the circle. Adam and Faye investigate Jake.
