Glee [The Catch Up]

Glee is currently in its third season. 

What Glee is about: 

Glee is a musical comedy about a bunch of talented ambitious teen; their struggles through high school and the journey of them trying to get to Nationals by outshining their singing competition. Every week the choir teacher tries to teach them a different lesson who is expressed through music and as a result  of that each week they produce amazing covers of mainstream songs.  

What happened in season 1 -

The glee club is formed and starts their journey to Nationals but first they have to make it to regionals while battling the coach of the cheer-leading team the Cheerios who not only hates the Arts but hates the teacher running the glee club. And…. that’s basically all that happens lol…. well the head cheerleader dating the head quarterback gets pregnant from another football player who also happens to be his best friend. She gives birth to the baby and gives it up for adoption to the head of the glee club’s competition group who also happens to be the biological mother of the glee club’s self nominated president Rachel . But don’t let me spoil everything else that happens for you.

What happened in season 2 –

 

Season 2 starts with the preparation for Nationals after they have won their regional completion. Their goal: to go to New York and compete and hopefully win Nationals. Kurt, the Glee club’s only gay person has to suffer with being bullied at school. The glee group, New Directions performs at Sue’s – the cheer-leading coach from hell – sister. Sue gives them a break from her torture so they are able to focus on winning more. I can’t remember what else happened this season but you can just watch it and see.

Season 3 Episode 1 –

Purple Piano Project

New Directions is back after losing Nationals in New York and Will decides to give them something to cheer them up: restored purple pianos all over the school that they are suppose to play whenever they feel like singing. However, this idea does not sit well with Sue and she rallies the rest of the school and the teachers and together they destroy the pianos.

Season 3 Episode 2 –

I Am Unicorn

Brittany asks Kurt to run his campaign for school President. Quinn has quit the glee club and now has a new group of friends called the skanks. Sue then uses Quinn’s new transformation in her campaign against the glee club and tries to convince the town that the Arts ruin lives. Will creates “Booty camp” to help the New Directions members improve their dancing and Shelby is back in town with Quinn and Puck’s baby Beth.

Season 3 Episode 3 –

Asian F

Mike Chang gets an A on a test and since an A is equivalent to an Asian F his father comes to the school. When he finds out that Mike is a dancer in the glee club he tells Mike that he has to quit and focus more on school. Mercedes is having issues with Will and the glee club and how he runs it.

Season 3 Episode 4 –

Pot of Gold

A new student is at the school and he’s convinced Brittany that he is a Leprechaun. Quinn and Puck babysit Beth for Shelby. Sue aims her anti-arts petition at the New Directions play “West Side Story”. Mercedes tries to get Santana to join the new glee group ran by Shelby and Santana says if she leaves Brittany leaves with her.

Season 3 Episode 5 –

The First Time

This is basically the virginity episode of glee. Here Rachel and Blaine are practicing for the musical when Artie asks how they can play sexually awakened teenagers if they are both still virgins. These two set out on trying to lose their virginities before the play.

Season 3 Episode 6 –

Mash Off

The two glee groups at McKinley high battle each other in a mash off. Puck who kissed Shelby in the last episode is now smitten with her. After tons of insults from Santana, Finn blurts out that he thinks she’s just a bitch because she’s in love with Brittany and afraid to show it. Finn’s outburst was taped by a girl in the hall who gave it to one of Sue’s running opponents. It ends up on the news.

Season 3 Episode 7 –

I Kissed A Girl

Finn makes Santana rejoin New Directions as a term for not getting her suspended when she slapped him in the last episode. Finn proposes a “lady’s music week” to cheer up Santana. Student elections are upon us and because she wants Kurt to win Rachel stuffs the ballot boxes. When the principal finds out she is suspended.
